Safety & Assumption of Risk
Harmels on the Taylor is a mountain guest ranch with access to outdoor recreational activities including fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, hiking, and ATV trails. Guests participate in all activities at their own risk. Certain activities may require signed waivers.
The Taylor River runs through our property and can be dangerous. River conditions change rapidly, and water levels can rise without warning. Guests should exercise extreme caution near the river, especially with children. Wading and swimming in the river is at your own risk.
Wildlife (including bears, moose, and mountain lions) may be present on or near the property. Do not approach or feed wildlife. Store all food and trash securely. Report any wildlife sightings to the front office.
We recommend appropriate footwear, clothing, and safety gear for all outdoor activities. Mountain weather can change rapidly. Be prepared for sudden storms, temperature drops, and high-altitude sun exposure.
