Started twenty-five years ago right here in the Gunnison Valley\, Opal Moon is a dance band that also writes originals\, and has opened for The Bellamy Brothers\, Asleep At The Wheel\, Suzy Bogguss\, Charlie Daniels Band\, and many more. The trio features Evelyn Roper (founding member) on vocals and acoustic rhythm guitar\, Sean Turner on vocals\, electric lead and lap steel\, and Johnny Kongo on vocals and stand-up bass.
