Harmel's Ranch Resort is located way up in the Colorado Rocky Mountains at 8,412 feet above sea level, in the southwest region of the state. The ranch is just north of Gunnison and south of historic Crested Butte. Our location gives us the advantage of having the best summertime weather imaginable with the norm being warm & sunny during the day and clear & cool in the evening.

Our guests enjoy whitewater rafting on the Taylor River, world-class gold medal fly-fishing, horseback riding, evening hay rides, and gourmet meals overlooking the river. Others enjoy more relaxing activities, like lounging at the pool, hot tub and sauna, getting a massage at our very own spa, or simply reading a book while over-looking the Taylor River and the magnificent Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

 What is the Harmel's Difference?
Harmel's realizes that our guests' busy schedule may not allow you to come on the Saturday to Saturday plan. Therefore, you may make a reservation starting on any day of the week. Harmel's has a three night minimum to accommodate those busy summer schedules. You'll find this way of thinking throughout Harmel's.
