• 1 climber: $150.00 per climber for a half day
• 2 or more: $95.00 per climber for a half day

What to wear:

Let our experienced guides treat you to some fun on the rocks! Designed for the first-time climber, the focus will be on the climbing experience, climbing movement and fun. Routes of various grades will be set up for all to enjoy. This safe, controlled setting is an excellent way to be exposed to the thrill of rock climbing for the first time.

Tennis shoes or hiking boots.
Comfortable, non-restrictive long pants or long shorts and a long or short sleeve shirt is okay.
Pack or wear a warm layer, you should leave valuable jewelry at home, tie long hair back.
The weather changes abruptly at this altitude so dress accordingly.

Prerequisites/Ability: 

Reasonably fit and in good general health, no experience is required, this climbing day is for beginners!

What to bring:

• 1 Quart of water
• Snacks
• Rain jacket
• Sunscreen
• Sun hat
• Sunglasses
• AND a positive attitude!

Harmel's Ranch Resort sponsors Gunnison Valley Adventure Guides as our rock climbing outfitters. They have a great safety record and are excellent climbers themselves. The rocks they use to take our guests climbing are located extremely near the ranch, within walking distance, at about 1/4 mile.

To secure your place for climbing or mountain bike tours, contact the front desk by noon the day before you would like to climb. Length of trip is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
